Teaching objectives
Its purpose is to provide knowledge about the performance of planned maintenance that requires the removal of the engine from the aircraft.Training course content
The 2nd line maintenance courses aim to give the mechanic the knowledge necessary to perform the maintenance tasks provided for in the maintenance manual that require the engine to be removed from the aircraft (workshop jobs), such as separation and assembly of the modules of the motor.
Who does this course apply to?
To customers who already have 2nd level tooling and/or who want to purchase it.
It is applicable to mechanics who are responsible for sending and receiving engines to workshops that perform 2nd and 3rd level maintenance, as well as overhaul.
Customers who, although they do not have the 2nd level maintenance structure, seek greater knowledge and understanding of the engine's operation.

Qualified 1st line aeronautical technicians
Trainer qualification
Training provided by personnel with operational experience in an aviation organisation and/or within an Authority, capable of providing feedback in the field concerned.
